John has been with Paul Mueller Company for 32 years, steadily advancing through various engineering and management roles. In April of 2024, John accepted the role of General Manager for our BioPharm, PyroPure, Food & Beverage, and Components business units.
Starting as an Applications Engineer, John’s career has spanned the design of heat transfer, agitation, and CIP systems for vessels to the oversight of cross-functional teams working on complex systems for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and certification as a Professional Engineer, John continues to play a significant role in the development of these areas of the company and the teams he manages.
Alongside his work at Paul Mueller, John has been active with ASME BPE, helping set safety and quality standards for bioprocessing equipment. Outside of work, John enjoys road trips with his wife, finding hidden gems along the way, and gardening — something he’s loved since a young age.
